Axminster Hotel Carpet – Technical Specifications

Weave Construction

Manufactured using Axminster technology, this mechanically woven carpet features a cut-pile construction. This structure provides both an elegant appearance and long-lasting performance.

Material Composition

Made from a blend of 80% pure new wool and 20% polyamide (nylon), combining natural comfort with excellent durability.

Yarn Specification

Two-ply yarn is used. Solution-dyed or stock-dyed yarn options are available, helping the colours retain their vibrancy over time.

Pile Weight

Approximately 1,120–1,600 g/m² and customisable according to project requirements.

Total Weight

Typically ranges from 2,800 to 3,500 g/m², contributing to the carpet’s durability and long service life.

Total Thickness

Approximately 9–11 mm, providing enhanced comfort and acoustic performance.

Colour and Pattern Options

Custom production allows for an extensive range of colour and pattern options. Bespoke designs can also be created to complement your brand identity and interior concept.

Roll Width

The standard production width is 366 cm. Custom dimensions may be available depending on project requirements.

Fire Classification

Can be manufactured to meet Bfl-s1 or Cfl-s1 fire classifications in accordance with the European EN 13501-1 standard.

Acoustic Performance

Its construction supports sound absorption and helps improve acoustic comfort, particularly in hotel rooms and corridors.

Compatible with Underfloor Heating

Suitable for use with underfloor heating systems, allowing efficient heat transfer while maintaining comfort.
